Fjord trout – juicy and rich on flavour
Our Fjord trout is born and farmed in the fjords of Western Norway. The melted glacier water from the mountains blended with the clean North Sea make perfect conditions for this delicious fish. Fjord trout are similar to salmon but with a different shape and typically slightly more rich on the healthy marine fat, especially in the belly part of the fillet.
Our fjord trout is available almost every week during the year.
Fjord trout is graded in Superior and Ordinary quality. It is similar to salmon and can be used in the same recipes.
