Main targets

Better use of resources and reducing Co2 emission are main targets. Feed accounts for 80% of our products Co2 emissions, transport is on second place. Reducing food waste, increase rate of edible fish and finding more climate friendly ways of transporting are main focus areas. In our factories we work constantly to reduce our footprint related to packing, energy, recycling and waste handling.

Sekkingstad believe environmental, social and governance are valuable factors to visualize and structure our work to improve our business. Our commitment drives us to work actively towards more sustainable solutions and “best practise” both within and outside our value chain.
