Our Sustainability Report
Our Sustainability Report provides insight into how Sekkingstad Group works with people, the environment and responsible governance. It outlines our priorities, commitments and progress, and describes how sustainability is integrated into our daily operations and long-term development.
Our main environmental targets focus on better use of resources and reduced CO₂ emissions. Feed represents the largest share of the climate footprint of our products, followed by transport. Reducing food waste, increasing the share of edible fish, and identifying more climate-efficient transport solutions are therefore key focus areas. At our processing facilities, we work continuously to reduce our footprint related to energy use, packaging, recycling and waste handling.
We believe that environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors provide a valuable framework for structuring and improving our business in a responsible and forward-looking way. Our commitment drives us to actively pursue more sustainable solutions and best practices, both within our own operations and across the value chain.

Double Materiality Assessment
In autumn 2024, we carried out a double materiality assessment in line with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
The assessment was conducted across Trient Group’s wholly owned subsidiaries – Sekkingstad, Skagerak Salmon, Fjord Processing, and Skagerak Processing – and forms the foundation for our sustainability reporting under the VSME standard.
This process has helped us identify the sustainability topics that are most significant to our business, both in terms of our impact on people and the environment, and in terms of financial relevance to the company.
Transparency act (Åpenhetsloven)
The Act shall promote enterprises’ respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in connection with the production of goods and the provision of services and ensure the general public access to information regarding how enterprises address adverse impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.

Her er vår redegjørelse for aktsomhetsvurderingene etter åpenhetsloven som er gjennomført for Trient AS (morselskap) og Sekkingstad AS for regnskapsåret 2024. Redegjørelsen ble godkjent av styret i Trient i juni 2025.
