Our main area of supply is the West of Norway. Our closest fish farmers, mainly family owned small to medium size companies supply approx. 70% of our salmon. Some of them we have worked with for more than 30 years.

These partnerships are the backbone of our commitment to delivering high-quality, responsibly farmed seafood to our customers worldwide. By collaborating with suppliers who share our values of quality, sustainability, and transparency, we ensure that the seafood we provide is not only delicious but also produced with respect for the environment and the welfare of the fish.

Below, we would like to introduce you to some of our valued suppliers:

Bolaks

Bolaks was founded in 1975 by brothers Reidar and Trygve Holmefjord together with Magne Bolstad in Bjørnafjorden Municipality on the west coast of Norway. Today, Bolaks is part of the Bolaks Group, which includes the broodstock and roe producer AS Bolaks, the grow-out producer Bolaks Sjø AS, and the smolt producer AS Sævareid Fiskeanlegg. The group and its operations remain located in Bjørnafjorden, with its headquarters in Eikelandsosen, and currently employs around 120 people.

Bolaks’ value chain stretches from genetics and breeding to roe production, smolt, and the final grow-out phase until the salmon reaches harvest size. Broodstock is produced at their onshore facility in Nystølen, smolt is raised at their modern facility in Sævareid, and the grow-out salmon is farmed across 13 locations within the Bjørnafjorden area.

Currently, Bolaks produces approximately 16,300 tonnes of Atlantic salmon annually, and through our partnership with Bolaks, we manage the full journey of our Atlantic salmon from roe to delivery, ensuring total control and consistent quality every step of the way.
